Seamus has almost 30 years experience in general practice and is responsible for quality assurance and directing our team’s work with clients. He has been the lead partner in Weir & Co. Chartered Accountants since May 2006 when the practice transferred from V Weir & Co which had been established in the early 1970s. Seamus is BIG4 firm qualified (1995) having worked for almost 10 years post qualification with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte.
He has experience in a wide variety of accounting experience in both the UK and the Republic of Ireland compliance. He works closely with all clients, advising them on a range of issues from tax compliance, systems implementation, business plans to further their business growth. His main experience is in clients in the sectors of Construction, Engineering, Professional Services and Farming / Agriculture.

Niall joined Weir & Co as a trainee in 2008 and qualified in Chartered Accountants Ireland in 2011. During his time with the Practice, Niall has built a strong core skill set working in income tax, UK corporation tax, capital gains, tax accounting, and tax planning of sole traders, partnerships, and corporate tax clients. Niall also finalises the financial statements for larger clients which are primarily limited companies.
He has experience in delivery of tax services, statutory filing requirements, cash flow forecasting, computerised accounting systems, and management accounts.
Bryan Martin BSc (Hons), PGDip, ACA

Bryan graduated from the Queen's University of Belfast in 2006 with an honours degree in Management Information Systems. He then completed the Graduate Diploma in Accounting, graduating from the University of Ulster in 2007. Bryan commenced his training contract with Moore Stephens in Belfast and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2010.
Bryan joined Weir & Co in 2010 and has gained experience in a variety of areas including internal and external audit and taxation. He is involved in conducting and managing audits, preparing financial statements and personal and corporate tax returns.

Roger Montgomery ACA joined Weir & Co in 2011 as a part qualified Chartered Accountant and has gained a wide variety of experience in several accounting sectors and has since qualified as a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
Roger is responsible for managing our clients payroll and CIS duties both in the UK and Ireland, which includes auto-enrolment duties. Prior to joining Weir & Co, Roger also gained a number of years’ experience with CavanaghKelly Chartered Accountants.
